I got a rare opportunity to stand in the middle of a runway at the local international airport. It was pretty cool, though thankfully there were no airplanes coming and going. Like several thousand other people at the grand opening of the new runway at Calgary International, I was all alone. The following day, of course, would have been a different story.
“Calgary Tower, this is Charlie-Golf-November-Foxtrot-Alpha. We’re at the threshold and ready for take-off.”
That is a fabulous picture! So atmospheric
Thank you very much. đŸ˜„
