I thought this a rather odd thing to find at a Calgary area rowing club, although it does speak to the province’s history and culture.

Rusty is all grown up now, and is eminently trustworthy, but when he was a pup we never could tell.
So what’s the best way to make sure he’s not anointing the carpet while you’re focused on your homework?
Give him a spot on the desk to call his own. He’ll feel included and you’ll be comfortable in the knowledge that he’s staying out of trouble.
So here he is, among the books, using the osmotic method of inculcation. And I think it must work for him, because he’s a very smart little dog.
