Pirate Life, on Wednesday.
What a lovely way to while away the day.
Sometimes, nature can be really boring.
I’ve been watching my four-season set of Starsky and Hutch episodes lately. I used to love that show as a boy – big cars, pretty ladies, thrilling chases and fights, and always a moral to the story. I always knew who the bad guys were.
Today as I watch things are a little different. I still enjoy it, but for different reasons. Now it’s the way it takes me back to a simpler time that makes me take delight. Now I can see that it’s a show aimed at ten year old boys, and I can laugh at myself for enjoying it.
On the other hand, I suppose the fact that it was aimed at me and I did enjoy it should reinforce at least the existence of my latent normalcy. I suppose I can be grateful for that.
Here’s a totally irrelevant picture. I didn’t have a camera of my own in 1974.
