Oddly enough, photographically speaking, I am in the twilight zone.
Yesterday I took my DSLR to the camera shop to arrange to have it cleaned inside. I did it all. I handed it over, I signed the chit, I shuddered when the man said “two to five weeks”. My lower lip even quivered as he took my baby and as I walked away from the counter small wet spots were building in the corners of my eyes.
And now I’m in withdrawal. Knowing that all I have to fall back on is the old point-and-shoot or – shudder – the iPhone!– my photographic world is breaking down around me. But, be brave, J, be brave.
This too shall pass.
