Every day, if we get up early enough, we have the opportunity to witness renewal in the sky. With every sunrise we see the birth of a new day, and of a whole new set of chances: chances to smile, to laugh, to enjoy life and share sweet time with those we love.
It’s all about renewal.
I flew down to Fresno for a training course in 2004 and took this little picture on the way. I used my point-and-shoot.
I like that the reflection of the airframe is visible in the engine cowling of the Airbus A320, and that the cowling acts as a convex lens so that even the nose of the aircraft is visible.
America West, of course, is no more. It merged with US Air in 2005.
This is the beach in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. Penticton is a lovely town in the Okanagan Valley – about 450km from the Pacific Ocean. I like Penticton. I spent quite a bit of time there one summer when I handled a big fire claim in Oliver – about an hour further south.
It’s a sleepy town, though it sizzles a bit in the summer.
